Reviews, and how to read them.

We only publish reviews we can link to a public source, word for word. Until we have those, this page is here to help you judge any pest control provider on your own, whether we referred you or not.

Do your homework

How to check a pest control provider.

  1. Check the licence

Businesses that apply pesticides for a fee in BC need a provincial pesticide user service licence. Where pesticides will be used, ask to see the licence and note the business name and number on it.

  2. Read recent reviews

Look at the provider's own Google profile. Recent, detailed reviews that mention the same pest and the follow-up visits tell you more than a star rating.

  3. Get the scope in writing

A written quote should state what is being treated, how many visits are included, what you need to prepare and what happens if the pest comes back.

  4. Compare two quotes

For anything beyond a single wasp nest, a second quote is worth the time. Differences in method and follow-up matter more than a small difference in price.

Tell us what you've noticed.

A few details about the problem and your neighbourhood is all it takes to get connected with a local provider.
