Say what we are
We're a referral service, and we say so on every page. You should always know who you're dealing with and how they're paid.
About
A local starting point for pest problems in Richmond.
Richmond Pest Control is a referral service. We publish plain-language pest guidance written for this city and connect people who need help with independent local providers.
When something is scratching in the ceiling at two in the morning, most people search, call the first result and hope for the best. They rarely know what a fair price is, what the law allows or which questions to ask.
This site exists to fix that part. Every page is written around Richmond itself: the dykes and ditches, the farmland, the condo towers, the heritage wood of Steveston. Pest problems here follow patterns, and knowing the pattern makes you a better buyer.
We don't do the pest control. When you send a request, we pass it to an independent provider that covers your neighbourhood and the problem you described. You deal with them directly, and you decide whether to book.
What we stand for
The standards we hold.
Local over generic
Advice written for somewhere else isn't much use here. We write for Richmond's buildings, climate and rules.
Facts we can stand behind
Prices come from what local companies publish, with the date we checked. Legal points are stated carefully and we tell you who the authority is.
Your decision
Sending a request commits you to nothing. Compare the quote, check the provider and book only if you're satisfied.
